When Will Puppies Lose Their Teeth

When will puppies lose their teeth. It really depends on the breed and the dog but puppies will generally start to lose their baby teeth at around four months old. Puppies teeth at 6 months when your pup turns six months old they should have lost most if not all of their baby teeth. Unlike in humans the roots of the puppy teeth are reabsorbed back into the gum and then the adult tooth pushes what s left of the tooth out as it erupts from the gum. Typically a chihuahua puppy will lose baby teeth by the time they are 3 months 12 weeks old.
